Musician
Performer with the trio Dreamers’ Circus and in orchestral collaborations with violinist Pekka Kuusisto. Though a three-time world champion of the clog-fiddle, Carr’s main instrument is the Nordic cittern.

Regularly composes for Dreamers’ Circus and other collaborations. Commissioned work includes projects for the Danish Radio Choirs, Copenhagen Philharmonic, Aaben Dans, Danish String Quartet, Østre Gasværk Teater, and Yasunori Mitsuda (Square Enix).

Featured on over 30 albums, including cross-genre collaborations and music for games and television.

Teacher
Main teacher in cittern and similar instruments at Malmö College of Music since 2011. Also teaching folk music theory and ensemble, as well as various seminars and masterclasses, with a passion for Nordic folk music on plucked string instruments.

Co-Artistic Director of Folkets Festival (est. 2024), and board member of Nordic Folk Festival and Folkrot. Aiming at creating platforms where tradition meets innovation and where folk music is accessible to wider audiences.

Administrator of Dreamers’ Circus in its role as a Special Ensemble under the Danish Arts Council (2021–2027). Member of reference groups for the Swedish Arts Council, supporting the strategic development of music and culture.
